September favourites up! Felt like September just flashes by anyone think so too? Anyway here are my September favourites list enjoy!

1. Batman: The animated series (1992)

Suicide Squad was okay, but little less than what I've been looking forward to tbh. But that movie had me curious about the stories of old Batman series, hence I've been watching the 1992 Batman animated series with my boyfriend for the past month and I honestly enjoyed it more than Suicide Squad. I'm currently at season 2 right now and my favourite episode so far has to be Day of the Samurai, what's yours?

Nothing better than watching some good old cartoon while snuggling under comfy sheets, Batman and chill maybe? (;

2. Tarte limited edition: Young, wild and free eyeshadow palette

First if all, this is not sponsored (I wish). Second of all, just look at that design, it says "Throw kindness around like confetti" in case you can't really see it from the photo and how cute is that! And thirdly, IT SMELLS LIKE CHOCOLATE.

I've been using this palette non-stop for the whole month of September and I must say, this palette is my current favourite palette right now. What I really like about it is that it covers all that you need in a little compact palette: 2 matte colours, 4 shimmering beautiful earthy colours, a highlight colour and a dark eyeliner colour. (that dark eyeliner colour is not black btw, it's like a charcoal dark blackish brown colour..?)
The colour payoff is certainly well done and I must say, this is my first ever Tarte product that I've bought because I was so drawn to that cover design, I know I'm a sucker for cute designs, but I might be buying more of Tarte products in the near future! Thumbs up for you Tarte well done!

3. Game: Death road to canada

Yup your girl has been playing games again this month~ This time, it's a computer game available on Steam called "Death Road To Canada". It is an indie decision-making game where each decision you make follows a consequence to it. So in this game, you are suppose to survive in a zombie apocalypse while on your way to Canada which, you will encounter several situations where you have to decide which is the more practical decision to make that is crucial to your survival. You may also encounter different characters and special events along the way, and if you are lucky enough, you might receive a rare item to make your survival trip much easier.

You can create your very own character with different traits and characteristics that will affect your decision-making process. The retro design of the game with a grainy and scratchy display is my favourite. I have been playing this game with my boyfriend for awhile now and we've only completed the game once! It gets harder as you progress further into the game trust me.

Also, 2 players are pretty hard to play together on one keyboard, so I recommend one person to be using a USB wired controller while another plays with the keyboard.

4. Kookizare collections

Okay this is a little different from my usual favourites, but it's so pretty I need to share it with you guys.
Kookizare a little online shop selling beautiful charm bracelets and necklaces with a huge variety of colour schemes for you to personally customize your very own unique piece. It is originated from Singapore so shipping fee locally is free! If you're not from Singapore, not to fret, Kookizare ships worldwide too so check out their website!
I really love the fact that they also included a little description on what each piece is inspired from, and what is the story behind every piece of art. I can really appreciate little things like so Kookizare definitely got my support!

5. Music: Northern wind - city and colour

Yet another song favourite for you guys!
Ahh City and Colour has a bunch of amazingly beautiful songs and this, has earned its way up to my all time favourite. Autumn is right around the corner, but sadly living in Singapore, I've yet to experience the real Autumn vibes of candles, pumpkins and sweet autumn leaves. This song here however, is the perfect Autumn song to relax to in an oversized fluffy sweather and a cup of warm coffee, accompanied by a favourite book to drift your mind away to.

6. Routine: Tea bags eye mask

Picture
Saving the best for the last~

I am an absolute tea person, and every time I used a tea bag to brew my tea, I always ensure to keep using the same teabag until the point where I'm just drink tasteless hot water, then throw the tea bags away. Little did I know that there are actually so many uses to used tea bags, if you go and check out some life hacks on tea bags, you will find that tea bags can be used for a range of purposes from treating shoes odors to helping remove stubborn dish stains. One of my favourite is the tea bag eye mask.

I love Jasmine and green tea. And I recently found out that green tea can help reduce under eye circles due to the caffeine and an active ingredient called tannins that shrinks blood vessels an reduce swelling and puffiness under the eye.

Here's how to use it: Grab a tea bag (any tea will do because all tea contains caffeine and tannins) and brew your tea. Once you're happy with the thickness of your tea, squeeze the excess liquid off your tea bag and throw them into the fridge for a few minutes over a cling wrap to prevent bacteria.

*Do not put them in the fridge for too long or they will dry out

Once you're ready for a relaxing eye mask, take them out of the fridge and gently place them on your eyes and slowly massage it for a good 10 minuts or so. The coldness of the tea bag against your eyes really does feel great and refreshing. I recommend brewing a cup of tea early in the morning and place the tea bags in the fridge while you go about getting ready for you day. Take them them out and place them on your eyes to freshen them up before doing your eye make-up to get you ready for a brand new day!

Bonus: Green tea can also be used as a toner for your face!

Alright that's it to my September favourites list! Hope you enjoy it and do leave a comment below if you've tried any of those and share with me your experience! I would love to hear from you (;
